# Project Vision

Capital DAO Protocol is a project that aims at the next way of Venture Capital using Decentralized Autonomous Organizations.\
Currently, there is a lot of focus on the use of blockchain and cryptocurrency worldwide. It is no exaggeration to say that Web 3.0 has become the standard and is beginning to permeate every field.

However Venture Capital has not been able to establish a Web 3.0 style. In the midst of this change from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0, Capital DAO's vision is to create a new and established VC mode. Because Venture Capital's business model starts with investing in new, next-generation projects, we may initially struggle with the transition to Web 3.0. However, this is our vision and our challenge to build a new business model.

We aim to disrupt Venture 2.0 and paradigm to Venture 3.0.

# Project Summary

![](/files/XqDxIq2p802BOTrrnWX8)

Capital DAO helps to realize the next generation of projects and Web3 projects.\
The Capital DAO Protocol connects promising future projects with maximizing the incentives of the investors present in the community.\
There are many incubators in the cryptocurrency community, and they use their own Launchpad to implement project IDOs.\
What makes us different from them is that it is natural for an incubator to provide mid- to long-term project support, and our mission is to connect projects with the community and nurture the community, which is what we should focus on the most. We also believe that it is necessary to raise the level of knowledge of users who participate as a community.

The Capital DAO Protocol aims to operate as a DAO in the future as a next generation VC. In order to achieve this, we believe it is important to create a higher level of investor community together with the project.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Change in Product Focus**

Our initial goal was to democratize IDOs, but due to shifts in industry trends, this has become challenging. Therefore, we have decided to shift our focus to one of our other missions: "democratizing investment profits." The profits that were initially planned to be distributed as CPDP will now be distributed as stablecoins (USDC or USDT) to pCDS holders, which can be obtained by staking CDS or CDS-ETH LP.\

# Problems

![](/files/ZOyyKCc15kmRu0YonaAn)

### Venture Capitals

\- While Web 3.0 is becoming more and more popular, VentureCapital's business model remains the same. On the contrary, it is a business model where they buy tokens at a low price and sell them to market participants at a high price. This is a far cry from the development of a healthy ecosystem.

### Projects

\- Projects give their tokens to VCs at low prices because they want to raise money and they want to be backed by well-known venture capitals.\
Projects that give away their tokens at a low price tend to see the price drop significantly in the short term as VCs sell the tokens on the secondary market, and community members tend to leave when the price keeps dropping.

### LaunchPad Platform

\- Currently, there are many Launchpad platforms in the market that are provided by incubators and VCs. The projects that offer these Launchpads require a token from the project itself in order to access it, but this token has very little utility.\
Basically, the token only serves as a ticket to participate in the IDO, so when the market changes from a Bull market to a Bear market, the ROI for participants in the IDO will not be high. As a result, the value of the token itself tends to drop quickly.

### User

\- Users hold tokens to participate in IDO and participate in IDO. When the market is a Bull market, the ROI is high, but when the market is a Bear market, the return on participation in IDO is not expected.\
This is because the literacy level of the participants is not that high and the due diligence of the investment is lax, so they often invest in the projects brought by the platform without understanding the reason and incur losses. As mentioned above, the lack of token utility also causes the IDO token to fall, which increases the possibility of double losses.

# Token Sale

Although the development of these features is complete, our project's focus has shifted to democratizing investment profits. As a result, the release of these features is currently on hold.

***

There are multitude of methods for Capital DAO token sales.\
By using different formats for different projects, you can have a flexible token sale and distribute tokens according to the project's demands.

The different methods allow users to participate in IDO in ways other than having a platform token. Capital DAO believes that many IDO platforms are problematic because they overly favor whales. Therefore, in this structure, it ensures that the general investors can publicly participate and have fair access to IDO.

![\*An example of an allocation, CDS Pool : Community Pool : Launchpool = 45 : 45 : 10](/files/VYhW37WQLlH0sPNBjJRk)

### **1. IDO（Public Sale）**

Capital DAO's IDO will be implemented in three parallel methods, with varying percentages of allocations, depending on the project.

#### **(ⅰ)CDS Pool**

Allocation distributed according to the staked CDS amount. (FCFS, no lotteries)

**(ⅱ)Community Pool**

Allocation distributed based on community contributions and Seed grants. (no need to hold any CDS tokens)

{% hint style="info" %}
**\[NOTE]**

Seeds are divided into three types: those earned by contributing to the Capital DAO itself through community activities (C-Seed), those earned through tasks for each project (P-Seed), and those earned by accepting and completing work as a KOL (K-Seed).

**・C-Seed: Cumulative Seed, affects all project IDOs.**

**・P-Seed: Seed that affects the IDO of each specific project and does not affect different projects.**

**・K-Seed: Similar to C-Seed, this Seed is cumulative and affects all project IDOs.**

These three factors affect the allocation with the following formula:&#x20;

***"C-Seed"×0.2+"P-Seed"×0.5+”K-Seed”×0.3=Seed***

*\*The formula may change depending on the project.*
{% endhint %}

**（ⅲ）Launchpool**

You can earn tokens for their projects by single staking CDS or staking CDS-ETH LPs through Launchpools. You do not need to buy tokens to mine new tokens. The CDS-ETH LP allows the mining of CDS as well as new tokens.

### **2. Seed Sale Program（Private or Seed Sale）**

#### (i) Purchase a limited number of 100 Capital DAO-VIP-NFTs for 100% token purchase.&#x20;

CapitalDAO-VIP-NFT will be available at a later date.

#### (ii) Purchase through a FCFS basis.

KOLs can earn Referral Rewards by introducing the Seed Sale projects on social media.

### **3. INO（Initial NFT Offering）**

Capital DAO will not only have a fungible token sale but also an NFT sale.

Similar to IDO and Seed Sale Programs, prepare a whitelist allocation according to the following:

* Staking amount of CDS or CDS/ETH LP
* Amount of Seeds
* Holding of Capital DAO-VIP-NFTs

# DAO Worker

Although the development of these features is complete, our project's focus has shifted to democratizing investment profits. As a result, the release of these features is currently on hold.

Capital DAO is more than just a fundraising Launchpad platform. We provide support starting from the initial phase to ensure the long-term health and development of your project. We create an opportunity for more projects to grow, not just those under incubation led by Capital DAO.

Capital DAO is a community-driven organization that encompasses a large number of KOLs (influencers, engineers, business developers, designers, marketers, etc.). We help you succeed by connecting your project to KOLs and by facilitating development and marketing.

KOLs will receive the reward for their contributions to the project, as well as SEEDs for token allocation through an IDO. These incentives amplify the motivation for KOLs to contribute.

### KOL&#x20;

* Register your profile (KYC & screening will be conducted)&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/jcq0JrSLw0iIPSp0htaI" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

In order to enable P2P communication as much as possible, they will conduct basic communications individually. However, since there is a possibility of non-payment or contract default when it comes to the distribution of the rewards, the DAO Worker platform will utilize an escrow managed by smart contracts to allow for a secure and transparent exchange.

# Find Influencers

![\*This screenshot is still under development](/files/eolUjlrwj5LOK97cIE4u)

It allows you to search for information on registered Influencers. \
The following settings can be adjusted:

* Aggregation period settings&#x20;
* Change the sorting method&#x20;
* Display the ranking of each social network site.

The left side shows the rankings while the right side shows the details of the selected Influencer.

## **\[Content]**

### **pCDS Staking rank**

KOLs are allowed to stake pCDS as collateral for their work. In the event that a job is accepted but the contract is not completed, the staked pCDSs are confiscated and used to compensate the project side. Staking itself is not necessary, but projects may ask for work based on the amount staked, so in other words “by staking pCDSs = confidence in their work”.

### **Seed rank**

Seed is a unique Capital DAO numerical value that is awarded based on an individual's contributions to the community. It accumulates as you do KOL work, so the higher the number, the more that individual has contributed.

### **Engagement rank**

It tallies how many people are responding to the information that has been sent out by using social networking sites. The higher the number, the more users the influencer has reached.

### **Followers rank**

This is the number of accounts that are followed on social networking sites. The more followers they have, the more influence they may garner.

### **Post rank**

This is the number of posts that the influencer makes on social networking sites and measures how active the individual is. If you would like to hire someone for a specific period of time, you can refer to how active they are.

### **Likes**

It tallies how much the content the influencer posts on social networking sites is being evaluated. The higher the number, the more positive impact it has on users.

## \[Content]

### **Wallet Address**

The reward will be sent to the wallet address that is registered here. Additionally, if the project is set to accept job applications only from a specific wallet address (Private Job), the address registered here will be used as a reference.

### **pCDS Staking**

You can stake your pCDS tokens. This is a different contract from the normal staking and also performs a special function. Obtaining CPDP tokens is no different than usual, but staking here acts as collateral for the job.

The reason why collateral is necessary is that from the Project's perspective, there is a risk that the applicant will accept the job but neglect it or the quality will be extremely low. In such a case, the project will report it to us, and Capital DAO will review it, and if we decide that the user's work is not up to par, we will collect the staking pCDS as a fine and hand it to the project.

In other words, the more staking you do, the more confidence you have in the work that you are providing. This is a very important parameter because the KOL list can be sorted by the amount of pCDS being staked. You can apply for a job without staking any pCDS, but it may be difficult to land a job offer.

Staked pCDSs cannot be withdrawn while the job is in progress, as they will be used as collateral.

### **Jobs**

In the Jobs management screen, you can switch between the following three views:

#### **Ongoing**

This view is for ongoing jobs.When the job is completed, click the "Completion report" button to send a confirmation to the Project side.

If there is a problem on the project side, you can report it to Capital DAO by pressing "Fraud Report". For example, if a job has been completed but the project has lost contact with you, Capital DAO can give the reward deposited to the KOL.

#### **Job application**

This view shows the jobs you are applying for.

When there is an approval on the Project side, that job will automatically be moved to the “Ongoing” view.\
You can cancel your application before it is approved.

The management screen allows you to edit the registered information, pCDS staking, and job management.

## \[Content]

### **pCDS Staking**

You can stake your pCDS tokens. The number of jobs you can request at the same time depends on the amount of staking you have done. 1 for every 30,000 pCDS staked (tentative), and unlimited job requests for staking 300,000 pCDSs or more (tentative).

During a job request, the number of pCDSs corresponding to the number of requests cannot be unstaked.

\*The amount of staking required is currently under review and may be subjected to change.

### **Jobs**

In the Jobs management screen, you can switch between the following three views:

#### **Ongoing**

This view shows assigned jobs in progress.

If the KOL completes the job and the application is submitted, a “Confirm” button will appear and if the project side approves the confirmation, the job will be completed and the KOL will be paid.

If there is a problem with the KOL, the project will send a “Fraud report” to Capital DAO, which will go under review and if the fraud case is verified, the job will be canceled. In this case, if the KOL is staking pCDS tokens, the pCDS tokens will be paid to the project as compensation.

#### **Recruiting**

This is where you make the request to hire KOLs for your project.

You can edit and cancel the application before it is submitted.

When you receive an application from a KOL, the information of the KOL applying for the job will appear under the corresponding job. If you would like to offer, click”Approval” button. And if you would like to reject it, click “Reject” button.

“Network" is for selecting the network to which you would like to assign the reward.&#x20;

If you would like to only request jobs from a specific wallet address holder, check “Private” under the “Recruit Scope” tab and enter the wallet address.

# Features

<figure><img src="/files/g3l4bPNKfZNk7ZkD8bJa" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Democratizing access to investment in early/seed stage companies/projects

Capital DAO has built its own Launchpad, Capital DAO Starter, which allows anyone with a Capital DAO Starter Token (Ticker : CDS) and access to Capital DAO Starter to access investment opportunities normally reserved for VCs and stakeholders. By holding a Capital DAO Starter Token and accessing the Capital DAO Starter, anyone can access investment opportunities that are normally reserved for VCs and stakeholders. Traditional Launchpad systems, such as FCFS and lottery systems, have not been very fair to token holders. We've created a tiered model based on the number of tokens you have, as well as allocations based on your contribution to the project.

## Community-driven protocol

Holders of the Capital DAO Token (Ticker:CPDT) have many opportunities to invest in the project/help the project move forward successfully. At the initial stage, the governance by the community will only make decisions on whether the projects incubated by the Capital DAO Protocol are optimal and really worth investing in.

However, in the future, we as Token issuers will be involved as a participant in the governance, and we will move to a community governance-driven entity.\
We will have all the governance functions, including setting protocol parameters and other trivial things.

## Due diligence reporting / Rating dashboard

By holding a Capital DAO Token, users can read the due diligence report of the project. It also aims to increase the literacy of participants, so they can get out of the mindset that they can just invest in any project that the platform brings to them. Because Venture Capital is community-driven, it is of utmost importance for governance participants to have a minimum level of knowledge.

## Investment Proposal

Holders of a certain number of tokens can raise a proposal to the Governance Board and propose an investment approach for projects such as Early/Seed/Series A.\
Projects that exceed a certain percentage in governance will be approached and

negotiated by the Capital DAO Protocol team. Some of the projects invested in here are also intended to be offered on our Launchpad.

## Mutually beneficial partnership between project and community

Projects in the Capital DAO portfolio gain more than money. Projects can gain testers, the people and community necessary for the team to succeed. And investors can enjoy early testing of the product, incentives, etc. for their initial investment.

## Profit Share

Capital DAO will invest using the funds obtained from previous token sales. The profits from these investments will be returned to CDS and pCDS holders. CDS holders will benefit from a CDS buyback and burn, while pCDS holders will receive stablecoin airdrops as part of the profit share. For more details, please see the Tokenomics page.

# CDS Tokenomics

The initial token issuance and industry trends have changed significantly, leading to a new Tokenomics model.

***

CDS is a crucial element that facilitates investment access for projects incubated by Capital DAO. CDS is used for accessing Capital DAO's starters and for staking profit distribution. The total supply of tokens is 16 billion, with 40% allocated to the community as mining incentives, such as liquidity mining and staking mining.

Users can earn pCDS by staking CDS or providing the CDS-ETH LP. Although pCDS is non-transferable, it is a highly valuable token that holds most of the utility within the Capital DAO economy.

### Token Utility

#### CDS

* Earn pCDS by staking CDS
  * When staking CDS, receive pCDS at a 1:1 ratio
  * When providing CDS-ETH LP, receive pCDS at 4 times the amount of CDS in the LP
  * Earn CDS as a reward when staking
  * pCDS is burned upon unstaking
* 20% of Capital DAO's investment profits are used for CDS buyback and burning
  * This occurs once a month when profits are generated
* Participate in IDOs by staking CDS
  * This feature is currently on hold

#### pCDS

* Non-transferable
* Participate in governance
* Participate as a DAO Worker
  * This feature is currently on hold
* 60% of Capital DAO's investment profits are shared
  * This occurs once a month when profits are generated
  * Distributed in stablecoins

## **Chain Migration**

Along with the new Tokenomics changes, all contracts will be migrated to Arbitrum. Those holding CDS on Ethereum can use the bridge provided by Capital DAO to receive CDS on Arbitrum.

## **CPDT→CDS Conversion**

In the new Token Model, CPDT will be integrated into CDS. CPDT holders can convert their tokens at a 1:1 ratio via the Web App.

Additionally, contributors who earned CPDT by staking CDS or CDS-ETH LP will receive a bonus on the conversion rate. A snapshot will be taken on June 6, 2024, at 00:00 UTC.

* CDS Solo-staking: +10% bonus
* CDS-ETH LP Provider: +40% bonus

> \*The higher bonus will be applied.

A simple example: Converting 10,000 CPDT

1. Standard: Receive 10,000 CDS
2. CDS Solo-staking: Receive 11,000 CDS
3. CDS-ETH LP Provider: Receive 14,000 CDS

While there’s no immediate rush, please remember to convert your tokens. After six months, any unconverted CDS allocated for conversion will be sent to the Treasury. Additionally, at the time of the snapshot, the liquidity provided by the Fund wallet will be withdrawn and used for a new liquidity pool on Arbitrum.

# Privacy Policy

**Introduction**

CPDAO Investment Limited(“Company,” “our,” “we”) understands the importance of privacy, especially when it comes to your personal information. Data privacy and your trust are our top priorities, and in this Privacy Policy we explain what information we collect from you when you use [https://capital-dao.xyz/](https://capital-dao.xyz) and Capital DAO Protocol, a decentralized protocol for launchpad and crowdsourcing, how we will use this information, and the very limited ways that we may share your information.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information, as you agree to this Privacy Policy by using the Protocol. **If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not use the Protocol.** This Privacy Policy is part of our Terms of Use.

**Users Under Age 18**

The Protocol is only intended for adults eighteen (18) years of age and older. You are not allowed to use the Protocol or provide information on it if you are under eighteen (18) years of age.

The Protocol is not directed at children under age thirteen (13), and therefore if the Company receives any information about a child under thirteen (13), the Company will assume that such information is being given with parental consent. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under thirteen (13) without parental consent, please contact us immediately at <support@capital-dao.io>.

**Information We Collect About You**

We collect several types of personal information from and about users of the Protocol depending on how they are using the Protocol, including:

*Information You Provide to Us*

When you use the Protocol, you may provide us with information about you. This may include your name and contact information, financial information to make or receive payment for services obtained through the CPDAO Investment Limited platform, or information to help us fill out tax forms. When you use the Protocol, we may also collect information related to your use of the Protocol and aggregate this with information about other users. This helps us improve our Protocols for you. You may also provide us with information about your contacts or friends. Project Agencies may also provide us with information about KOLs associated with the Project.

* **Personal Information**: In the course of using the Protocol, we may require or otherwise collect information that identifies you as a specific individual and can be used to contact or identify you (“**Personal Information**”). Examples of Personal Information include your name, email address, company address, billing address, and phone number.
* **Payment Information**: If you use the Protocol to make or receive payments, we will also collect certain payment information, such as credit card, PayPal or other financial account information, and billing address.&#x20;
* **Identity Verification**: We may collect Personal Information, such as your date of birth or taxpayer identification number, as may be required by law, such as to complete tax filings. We may request documents to verify this information, such as a copy of your government-issued identification or photo or a billing statement.&#x20;
* **Non-Identifying Information/Usernames**: We also may collect other information, such as zip codes, demographic data, information regarding your use of the Protocol, and general project-related data (“**Non-Identifying Information**”). We may aggregate information collected from CPDAO Investment Limited registered and non-registered users (“**Capital DAO Protocol Users**”). We consider usernames to be Non-Identifying Information. Usernames are made public through the Protocol and are viewable by other Capital DAO Protocol Users.&#x20;
* In some cases, we may render Personal Information (generally, email address) into a form of Non-Identifying Information referred to in this Privacy Policy as “**Hashed Information**.” This is typically accomplished using a mathematical process (commonly known as a hash function) to convert information into a code. The code does not identify you directly, but it may be used to connect your activity and interests.&#x20;
* **Combination of Personal and Non-Identifying Information**: Certain Non-Identifying Information would be considered a part of your Personal Information if it were combined with other identifiers in a way that enables you to be identified (for example, combining information with your name). But the same pieces of information are considered Non-Identifying Information when they are taken alone or combined only with other non-identifying information (for example, your viewing preferences). We may combine your Personal Information with Non-Identifying Information, but CPDAO Investment Limited will treat the combined information as Personal Information.&#x20;
* **Collection of the Third Party Personal Information**: We collect the following personal information from you about your contacts or friends: First name, last name, and email address when you provide it to us for the purpose of adding your contacts to a message room.

You do not have a statutory obligation to provide us with any information, but you may have a contractual obligation to do so, and if we do not receive certain information from you, then we will not be able to provide our Protocol to you. If you have any questions regarding whether provision of information is mandatory and the consequences for withholding such information, please contact us at <support@capital-dao.io>.

*Information Received from Third Parties*

Third parties may also give us information about you. If we combine that information with information about you collected through the Protocol, we will still treat that combined information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

We also may receive information about you from third parties. For example, we may supplement the information we collect with outside records or third parties may provide information in connection with a co-marketing agreement or at your request (such as if you choose to sign in with a third-party service). If we combine the information we receive from others with information we collect through the Protocol, we will treat the combined information as described in this Privacy Policy.

*Information Collected Automatically*&#x20;

Like other online companies, we receive technical information when you use our Protocols. We use these technologies to analyze how people use our Protocols, to improve how our site functions, to save your log-in information for future sessions, and to serve you with advertisements that may interest you.

We and our third party service providers, including analytics and third party content providers, may automatically collect certain information from you whenever you access or interact with the Protocol. This information may include, among other information, the browser and operating system you are using, the URL or advertisement that referred you to the Protocol, the search terms you entered into a search engine that led you to the Protocol, areas within the Protocol that you visited, and other information commonly shared when browsers communicate with websites. We may combine this automatically collected log information with other information we collect about you. We do this to improve services we offer you, to improve marketing, analytics, and site functionality.

The information we collect also includes the Internet Protocol (“IP”) address or other unique device identifier (“Device Identifier”) for any device (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) used to access the Protocol. A Device Identifier is a number that is automatically assigned or connected to the device you use to access the Protocol, and our servers identify your device by its Device Identifier. Some mobile service providers may also provide us or our third party service providers with information regarding the physical location of the device used to access the Protocol.

CPDAO Investment Limited and its partners use cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the website, track users’ movement around the website, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. The technology used to collect information automatically from Capital DAO Protocol Users may include the following:

* **Cookies**: Like many websites, we and our marketing partners, affiliates, analytics, and service providers use “cookies” to collect information. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer’s hard disk for record-keeping purposes. We use both persistent cookies that remain on your computer or similar device and session ID cookies, which expire at the end of your browser session (for example, to enable certain features of the Protocol, to better understand how Capital DAO Protocol Users interact with the Protocol and to monitor aggregate usage by Capital DAO Protocol Users and web traffic routing on the Protocol). You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level, but if you choose to disable cookies, it may limit your use of certain features or functionality of the Protocol.
* **Web Beacons**: We and our marketing partners, affiliates, analytics, and service providers may also employ software technology known as “web beacons” and/or “tracking tags” to help us keep track of what content on our Protocol is effective and to serve relevant advertising to you. Web beacons are small graphics with a unique identifier that may be invisible to you, and which are used to track the online activity of Internet users. Web beacons are embedded in the web pages you review or email messages you receive. Web beacons or similar technologies may be used for a number of purposes, including, without limitation, to count visitors to our Protocol, to monitor how Capital DAO Protocol Users navigate the Protocol, to count how many emails that were sent were actually opened, or to count how many particular articles or links were actually viewed.
* **Embedded Scripts**: We and our marketing partners, affiliates, analytics, and service providers may also employ software technology known as an Embedded Script. An Embedded Script is programming code that is designed to collect information about your interactions with the Protocol, such as the links you click on. The code is temporarily downloaded onto your computer or other device and is deactivated or deleted when you disconnect from the Protocol.

In addition, we and our marketing partners, affiliates, analytics, and service providers may use a variety of other technologies (such as tags) that collect similar information for security and fraud detection purposes and we may use third parties to perform these services on our behalf.

**How We Collect Information From You**

We collect information from you in two ways:

* First, we collect information directly from you when you provide it to us, such as your ethereum address when you interact with the Protocol, or entering personal information into the <https://capital-dao.io/> website to create an account through a series of questions provided to you.
* Second, we collect generic information about your usage and equipment automatically as you navigate through the Website and Protocol, such as usage details, IP addresses, web browser preferences, and information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies. Although we do not correlate tracking information to individuals, some information collected, such as IP addresses, will be unique.

**Do Not Track Settings**

We do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place.

**Why We Need Your Data**

From time to time, it is necessary for users to supply us with data in connection with the opening or continuation of accounts and the establishment or continuation of facilities or provision of services or in compliance with any laws or guidelines issued by regulatory or other authorities. We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including personal information:

* To continue the daily operation of the services and facilities provided to users of the Protocol.
* To meet the requirements to make disclosures under the requirements of any law binding on the Protocol under and for the purposes of any guidelines issued by regulatory or other authorities with which the Protocol is expected to comply.
* To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us.
* To provide you with notices about your account.
* To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
* To notify you about changes to the Protocol or any products or services we offer or provide though it.
* In any other way we may describe when you provide the information.

**Disclosure of Your Information with Third Parties**

Any personal information you provide will be held securely and processed in accordance with data protection and other relevant legislation. We may share your personal information with our business partners and service providers, but only to the extent that they each need to know specific information to continue to provide the Protocol or services to you. This includes:

* Our contractors, employees, service providers, and other third parties that we use to support our business and improve the Protocol;
* To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger or reorganization if the personal information of our users is part of the assets transferred;
* To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request;
* If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Protocol, our users, or others; or
* For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, which means information that does not identify any individual, without restriction. As an example, we may include in our marketing materials that a certain percentage of our users are female, but we won’t share a list of all female users in these materials.

We will not sell, rent, or lease your date to third parties.

**Your Rights to Protect Data**

We would like to ensure that you are fully aware of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

* The right of access - you can request a copy of your personal data, and other information related to our processing.
* The right to rectification - you have a right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate, including to ensure it is complete or up to date.
* The right to stop or restrict processing - you have the right to request that we cease the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
* The right to complain - you have the right to complain to use or to the CPDAO Investment Limited if you believe we are processing your personal data in a way that breaches the Law in British Virgin Islands.

You can review and change your personal information by logging into the Protocol and visiting your account page. You may also send us an email at <support@capital-dao.io> to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

There are exemptions from giving you the persona data you have requested where it concerns:

* Crime, and
* Monitoring, inspection or regulatory functions.

**Data Security**

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access. For example, access by a user to his or her personal information is available through a unique customer ID and password selected by the user that should be regularly updated. This information is encrypted through the Protocol with Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL) and is also encrypted when it is stored by us to prevent unauthorized parties from viewing such information. Also, we perform regular malware scanning of the Protocol and all servers and computers used by us to support the Protocol. All Company employees are required to adhere to our security and confidentiality procedures and undergo training related to maintaining the security of user personal information.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where you have chosen a password for access to certain parts of the Protocol, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone and be careful about giving out information to other users on the Protocol if requested.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to the Protocol. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Protocol.

**How Long We Keep Your Data**

We may only retain your personal information as long as:

* It is needed for the purposes set out in this notice.

**Third Party Links**

The Protocol may contain links that lead to other websites, and the Company is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, and/or activities of these linked websites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of the Protocol and welcome any feedback about these external websites.

**Changes to Our Privacy Policy**

We will post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page and you will be notified of any material changes on the Protocol home page and in an email to the most recent email address that you provided to us, if any.

**Contact Information**

We are committed to respect and protect your privacy to the greatest extent possible. When we process your information we will comply with the law, including data protection legislation. Should you feel that your data is processed in breach of data protection law or other legislation, you can report your concern to us by email us at <support@capital-dao.io>.
